As part of our hose testing services, particularly on industrial sites, FHT offer a hydrant inspection and testing service for both underground and pillar type hydrants. 

Subject to the customer’s requirements we can:

• Flow test hydrants
• Test and visually inspect outlet valves
• Visually check pit condition and appearance of the hydrant lid
• Check on the appearance and positioning of hydrant signage
• Check appearance and condition of instantaneous sealing washers
• Check hydrant point for ease of access and flag up any potential obstruction issues.

The data is recorded on a report which is sent to the customer with a copy held centrally by FHT.
